Deep beneath the earth, at some forgotten corner of Vana'diel, the two zilart princes silently slumbered. The chamber was in a slight state of disrepair, even zilart architecture had it's points of strain, but the millenia had overall been kind to it. There was only a faint electrical buzz as energy began to pour into the room, at long last the crystal line had revived! As the light of the crystals filled the chamber the lid of Eald'narche's right eye began to twitch, slowly widening to take in the room. To the prince only a few moments had passed since the fall of his kingdom, he did not even venture to guess how many years it had truly been however. As the last traces of energy left Eald'narche's body the glow of his crystaline left eye softened a bit, though it's shine still illuminated the chamber. After enjoying the use of both eyes, a rare pleasure, for a few moments Eald'narche once again buried it's glow beneath a patch. Regardless of what beings had made Vana'diel their home, for only intellegent life could activate the crystal line, Eald'narche remembered that the Gate of Paradise was the only factor of importance. However he did possess some semblence of curiosity as to what form of life now inhabited his world. As of yet there was no sign of Kam'lanaut, the crystal eye had likely boosted the speed of Eald'narche's revival, and so he decided to take in a bit of fresh air while waiting for his brother's awakening.
